We propose a new family of spatially coupled product codes, called sub-block rearranged staircase (SR-staircase) codes. Each code block SR-staircase codes is obtained by encoding preceding blocks and information blocks, where the rearrangement involves sub-blocks decomposition transposition. The proposed can be constructed to have each size $1/q$ that conventional while having same rate component for any positive integer notation="LaTeX">$q$ . In this regard, we use strong algebraic construct with similar or as weak characterize decoding threshold under iterative bounded distance (iBDD) using density evolution. also derive conditions which they achieve better than Further, investigate error floor performance analyzing contributing patterns their multiplicities.
